Setting up your camera for the first time is a straightforward and hassle-free process. In this guide, we’ll take you step-by-step through the entire setup, ensuring that your Camovue Talon Pro is properly installed, connected, and ready to deliver top-notch performance. By following this guide, you’ll be up and running in no time, enjoying the full capabilities of your new camera system.
What You Need to Set Up Camovue Talon Pro
1. The Camovue Talon Pro with the antennas installed. It is recommended to install the antenna upwards for a better signal reception experience.
2. An activated SIM card for the camera.
3. Proper power supply.
4. A smartphone with Camovue App installed.
If you haven’t acquired the App, scan the QR code shown below to download and install the Camovue App on your iOS or Android phones.
Setup Guide for Camovue Talon Pro
Step 1: Launch the Camovue App and Log in to your Camovue account.
Step 2: Tap the plus (+) icon in the top right corner. Then you can scan the QR code in the camera. How to Find the UID of Camovue Camera
If you have the QR code saved in your phone album, tap Album in the top right corner to find the picture and scan.
You can also tap Input UID to enter the UID of the camera manually.
Step 3: Follow the on-screen instructions to confirm the camera power status.
Ensure the camera is powered and switch on the camera. Check and make sure the power indicator can light up in green. Then you will hear a voice prompt "Welcome to Camovue, please start the Camovue App and the QR code on the camera.". Tap Next to continue.
If you do not hear the voice prompt, long-press the TEST button on the camera for five seconds to reset the camera and then it will emit a voice prompt.
Step 4: Ensure Bluetooth permission is enabled and then the camera will be connected through Bluetooth.
Step 5: Insert the compatible Nano SIM card in the correct direction. If you still get the error message "No SIM card found in the device. Please insert one." You can take out the SIM card and insert it back.
Done! Now the camera is successfully added to your Camovue account.
Then you can follow the on-screen instructions to subscribe to the Camovue Cloud or just tap the cross (×) button in the top left corner to skip. Introduction to Camovue Cloud Service
Important Note: If you want to save the recording to the microSD card or upload the recording to the Camovue Cloud, please insert a microSD card into the camera.
