How to Find the UID of Camovue Camera

The Product UID (Unique Identifier) is a crucial piece of information for managing your Camovue cameras. It is a 16-character code that serves as a unique identifier for each camera, making it easier to add devices to your system and search for product details. Whether you're setting up a new camera, troubleshooting an issue, or registering your device, knowing how to locate the UID is an essential step in ensuring smooth operation.

Method 1. Find the UID on the Camera

Gently slide the back cover lock on the side of the camera to release the back cover and open the casing of the camera. Then you will see a label on the left. You will find the UID under the QR code. You can also scan the QR code to connect the camera.

Method 2. Find the UID on Camovue App

Find the camera on the Device page of the Camovue App. Tap the camera name and you will find the camera UID under the camera model.

You can go to the same page by tapping the Settings icon on the Device page and then tap the camera name on the Settings page.
