To enable connectivity for your Camovue Talon Series camera, follow these steps to properly install a SIM card. Note that the SIM card slot is located inside the camera.
Applies to: Talon, Talon Pro.
1. Open the Camera
- Unlock and Open: Start by twisting the camera cover to the left to unlock it. Then, twist it to the right to fully open the camera and access the internal components.
2. Locate and Insert the SIM Card
- Find the SIM Slot: Inside the camera, you will see two slots. The SIM card slot is on the left.
- Insert the SIM Card: Align the SIM card with the left slot, ensuring that the metal contacts are facing down. Gently slide the SIM card into the slot until you hear a click, indicating that it is securely in place.
3. Reassemble and Power On the Camera
- Power On: Turn on the camera. The camera should detect the SIM card automatically, allowing for connectivity.
- Replace the Cover: After inserting the SIM card, twist the camera cover back to the left to secure it, and then twist it to the right to lock it in place.
4. Verify SIM Card Installation
- Check Connectivity: Once the camera is powered on, verify network connectivity by accessing the camera through the Camovue App.
