Camovue’s Rich Notification allows you to receive push notifications with image of detected events, along with a text message. This enhanced notification provides more detailed information compared to standard text-only notifications. This article will guide you on how to set up Camovue rich notification.
Step 1: A Subscribed Cloud Plan Is Required
If you are using a Camovue SIM card, subscribing to a SIM card data plan will automatically enable the cloud service features. If you are using a non-Camovue SIM card, you will need to subscribe to a cloud plan to receive push notifications with image. Open the app and tap "To purchase" a plan for your camera.
Step 2: Set Motion Capture and Enable Push Notifications
1. Go to Settings > Motion Capture, set the camera to capture either a single image or recording capture to receive push notifications with image. Otherwise, you’ll receive text-only notifications.
2. Enable Push.
Note: If you receive a text-only notification indicating that the camera has sent multiple images and videos, it’s because the camera is generating several images or videos. However, the image-based push notification can only include one image, so text is used as a substitute in this case. You can then check them in the Camovue App's Gallery.
Step 3: Ensure Proper PIR Settings for Alarm Detection
Ensure the camera is properly detecting alarms, such as ensuring the PIR is enabled, and the PIR schedule matches the required detection time, along with other PIR settings. For more details, refer to: How to Configure PIR Settings for Camovue Camera.
Once these steps are completed, the camera will send a push notification with image to your phone when an alarm is detected.
By following these steps, you'll be able to enjoy detailed push notifications with images from your Camovue camera, providing you with enhanced insights and alerts. For any issues or additional support, feel free to click "Submit a Request" below to reach out to Camovue Support.
