Push notifications is a convenient feature that allows Camovue camera users to receive real-time alerts on their smartphones when an alarm is triggered. This guide explains how push notifications work and how to enable or disable it.
What Is Camovue Camera Push Notification?
A push notification is a text message sent directly to a user's device (like a smartphone) from an app. These notifications pop up on the device's screen even when the app isn't open, providing timely information or alerts. For Camovue cameras, you can enable push notifications, and when the camera detects an alarm event, it will send a message to your phone.
Here is how the Camovue push notification works:
The camera triggers an alarm > The camera sends the alarm message to the Camovue server > Camovue server sends the message to Google or Apple server > The server sends the message to the specified mobile phone > The mobile phone receives the message and informs the user in the form of a push notification.
Note: Android phones use Google servers, while iPhones use Apple servers.
