Many users ask if the Camovue camera supports continuous live viewing. While it allows live view, it automatically exits after a set time to conserve battery—this is where its Standby Mode comes into play.
Why Does the Camovue Camera Exit Live View?
Camovue camera is a battery-powered type designed for efficient power management. Continuous live viewing can quickly drain the battery, which is why the Camovue camera is equipped with a Standby Mode to optimize energy consumption.
How Camovue Camera Standby Mode Works
When using the live view function, the camera allows a maximum preview time of 5 minutes before automatically switching to Standby Mode to conserve power. If you wish to continue monitoring after the 5-minute session ends, you can simply tap the play button to resume live viewing. However, please note that prolonged and frequent live viewing will significantly increase battery consumption.
Does the Camera Still Detect Motion in Standby Mode?
Even in Standby Mode, the camera remains active and continues to detect motion and send alerts when an event is triggered. This ensures that important activities are still monitored without unnecessary battery drain.
To ensure longer battery life and optimal performance, we recommend using live view when necessary and relying on motion detection for continuous security.
