1. What is Two-Factor Authentication?
Two-factor authentication (2FA), is a security process that adds an extra layer of protection to your online account. It requires two different forms of verification before granting access to your account. The first form is typically your password, and the second is a temporary code sent to you through a different channel, such as SMS, email, or an authentication app.
By implementing this two-step process, even if someone obtains your password, they will still be unable to access your account without the second code. Two-factor verification significantly reduces the risk of unauthorized access and ensures that your personal, financial, and other sensitive information is well protected.
